Enormous, swirling, black mass Engulfing the bright luminous orb With speed it swallows Yet the orb prevails Turning black to gray As white crystals descend Nothing has changed Except your perspective

There is a boy Without a mask I've met him, quite a task He does whatever his heart desires Whilst also drawing mask wearers ire However we talk, face to mask And he's longing to see another at last Through mine he sees my creaks And other features through my mask which leaks He wants to tear it off of course But the mask stays on, through my own force His face its shining with the prospects of new But the masks around him eschew His very existence, or so it seems His light is too bright, it gleams He hopes one day folks will join him And not by his own demand This boy without a mask He's definitely a man

His mask, his mask It fits him well Grown with it for years As far as I can tell Like many young men, its quite the same Be tough, be strong, show no pain If something is odd, its not worth your time To explores its boundaries within your mind However his mask, it has some cracks Through which I see the life beneath A soul which begs to speak its mind To let it portray its emotions in peace It only shows when no ones around In silence or with a few others He says "I feel things, how does that sound?" I awake to a cold day Yet the Sun shines brightly anyway Feeling warm and yet much chilled The day ahead gives me a thrill Spring is coming or so it is said Very soon, time for me to fall from my bed I head outside, a brisk walk ahead I choose to jog, eases my pounding head And when Im home, breathless and tired I will feel a bit higher Knowing that warmness is on its way But with the sun, it never went away

Oh somber sky Catch my wondering eye And make something new To see Catch clouds and designs All with a shine And yet always different With how we perceive Catch the breeze As it flows through the night And the warm honey Of day And here we are fleeting In this beautiful cycle Amid such curiosity Our mind finds us.

 The Guardian He stands there watching Always aware The Raven is guarding, and he always cares He often appears on a mid-winter day His loud screech screams piercing every way He stands there watching above the courtyard Watching the young ones with wonder and awe For he is an old Raven whom age knows no number But he will be watching and will always remember.
